The Singapore Buddhist Meditation Centre was established in August 1979 (ROS 188/79). Its primary aim is to spread the Buddha's word world-wide. This Centre was founded by Ven. Weragoda Sarada Maha Thero as Religious Adviser, with the dedicated support of a group of pioneering devotees led by Mr. Ee Fook Choy and Mr. Dennis Wang Khee Pong. The Centre is registered as a charity organization. We started on a minor scale, now, after 20 years is an institution with a global reach radiating the glory of the Buddha-Word, under the guidance of Ven.
